The Mouse Outfit ­ – Remixed is the first remix album from Manchester based Hip Hop production team and live band The Mouse Outfit. The album is a collection of 12 brand new remixes of tracks taken from their first two albums, Escape Music and Step Steadier. The tracks have been reinterpreted by 12 heavyweight international producers including fellow Manchester resident and drum and bass pioneer Dub Phizix, Scottish reggae soundsystem Mungo’s Hi Fi , Detroit beat guru Tall Black Guy and Russian mixologist DJ Vadim. Influences come from Hip Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, Jazz and Drum & Bass with a variety of styles from the head­nodding boom bap remixes by Dirty Dike, Pete Cannon and Flofilz through to the soulful reworks by Werkha and Sivey to bass heavy dancefloor reworks from Biome, Benny Page and Bane & Nymad. The album features vocals from emcees Sparkz, Fox, Dr Syntax, Black Josh, Truthos Mufasa, Verb T, Jman and T ­Man.
